2025 NSGSO & NSGCB
We are delighted to be announcing that applications for the 2025 anniversary course of the NSGSO and NSGCB are now open. In 2025 we are celebrating the 50th course of the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra and the 10th course of the National Scout and Guide Concert Band in its current format, and it will be our biggest course yet. The 2025 residential course will again take place in Stourbridge at Old Swinford Hospital School and will culminate in two bumper concerts at Nottingham Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall, presenting a tribute to their collective 60 year history.
The course runs from Saturday 2nd August - Sunday 10th August 2025 and the closing date for applications is 9am on Sunday 1st December 2024. To find out more about our course, visit our website, nsgso-nsgcb.com.
I would be really grateful if you could circulate this email and attached flier as widely as possible amongst all Scouts, Explorers, Young Leaders and Network members aged 12-25 in your county.
The course is hosted by Birmingham Scout County in conjunction with Girlguiding Birmingham, but is open to applicants from across the UK who meet the selection criteria.

For anyone wishing to use this course for their DofE, KSA or QGA residential then this year must be the first time that they have attended.
You will hear by mid December 2024 if your application has been successful or not.
