Start at:
Outside the pedestrian entrance to the St George’s Centre multi-storey car park. This is on the lower ground level – the same level as the entrance (Free parking on Sunday)
Who:
Entries are for sixes (anywhere from 3 to 9) working as a team. Each team must be accompanied by one or two adults. At least one accompanying adult should have been DBS’ed through Scouting.
Doing:
Follow a map and directions around Gravesend, answering questions on what you find as you go learning some facts and having fun.
Badges:
Counts as a Hike Away, and towards a number of badges.
Finish:
In McDonalds, 85/87 New Road, Cubs will be given a Happy Meal and accompanying leaders tea / coffee. Parents can pick up from McDonalds or you can walk back to the Car Park.
How long:
About 2 hours for the trail, plus McDonalds time
Start time:
Staggered starts – allocated from 9.00am to 11.00 am (Leaders - Please Book & Parents - Please speak to your leaders)
Cost:
£3.00 per cub, payable in cash at the start on the day (includes Happy Meal) or by cheque or transfer
Wear:
Cubs should wear uniform (and a coat!)
Bring:
Anything needed to sustain you for the trail (snacks and drinks). A clipboard and a small first aid kit per six are recommended.
