Drop in Practical Skills Day for Leaders.
Saturday 19th October. 11.00 - 15.00.
We will be based in Hopehill Scout Campsite, Starsky, Hutch and in the woods.
Skills available:
Knife, axe & saws.
Basic map reading and compass bearings.
Stoves. Choice, use & safety.
We will also have a small campfire area in the woods for a firelighting and cooking opportunity.
If you would like to get involved in sharing your skills please let me know so as i can send you the necessary risk assessments and training content. Or just come along and enjoy.
There is no charge for this Skills Day
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available but if you would like to bring a lunch or something to cook on the camp fire? Please do.
