Are you currently aged 18-25? Turning 18 soon and thinking about your next opportunity after explorers? Then why not join the Gravesham Orion Scout Network!
The Scout Network meets a few times a month and aims to provide a fun and relaxed programme for all members aged 18-25. We are currently seeking new members aged 18+ to come and join us!
Our programme is very varied and we take ideas from all network members at least once a term to plan our next meetings. We offer a mix of social activities as well as some scouting skills.
Some of our recent activities have included:
- Climbing at Lower Grange Farm
- Social BBQ at Hopehill
- Mini golf
- Cooking
- Night hike
- Pioneering
In the pipeline for this year includes:
- Camping trip in the summer
- Tobogganing
- Archery
- Shooting
In addition, we assist with other district events as adult leaders such as JP Bond and District Explorer meetings.
We also offer support for completing top awards such as King's Scout Award, the DofE programme and the Scouts training programme.
