Gravesham Scouts 2025 Programme and Events Calendar

With 2024 gradually moving towards its close you might be thinking about your programme for 2025 within your sections.

Well, if that is the case then we have great news, the Gravesham Scouts 2025 Programme and Events Calendar is now available on the website! And we have made it accessible in a range of options to (hopefully) suit you all.

You will be able to view all events on our digital calendar hosted on the District website, there is a printable PDF that you can download and (new for this year) we have made it so that you can also subscribe to the calendar, so you will never miss an event (and it will update for you when we update it at our end!).

The programme of events we offer as a district are designed to support and help all the sections supplement their programmes they run individually and offer the chance to do things that aren’t feasible otherwise either due to scale or skill sets required.

In 2025 there will be most of our usual favourites such as block cars for the cubs, Hillcraft for the Scouts and Explorers as well as parties and activity days for both Squirrels and Beavers. Plus we are looking to gradually introduce some new events, resting old ones and putting some on rotation so that you get access to as much as possible! Also tweaks to existing events to make them even better!

St George’s Day 2025

One of those events we are looking to tweak is 2025 St George’s Day, a team of volunteers are currently putting together a plan to make the event more engaging and interactive than ever before, with the focus on our young people and how they can enjoy the day whilst still keeping with some traditions such as the renewal of our promise as Scouts.

Hopehill’s 75 Birthday Bonanza

2025 brings the 75th Birthday of our beloved campsite, Hopehill! We intend to celebrate this in full over the weekend of July 12th-13th… so get the date in your diaries NOW! There will be activities for all the sections to take part in and the offer of camping for some too. Full details of the event will be out in the New Year, but please save the date so that you can join us and be part of something special!

In addition, we have put together a birthday wish list of 75 things we would like donated or supported… more on this will be out in the new year!
