King's Coronation Medal awarded
Last year, twenty King's and Queen Scouts (holders of the highest youth training award in Scouts) from Kent took part in the coronation of HM King Charles III at Westminster Abbey. Five of them have been honoured with the award of a coronation medal to recognise their outstanding service, in supporting the nation and doing their duty.
On Monday Kelvin Holford, former Scouts County Commissioner and Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kent, presented Hannah Booth with her medal in front of the District's Explorer Scouts on a very wet District meeting and BBQ at Hopehill.
Congratulations to Hannah on a job very well done.
