Don't shoot me for mentioning the C word just as we reach September, but we do want as many adults in the District to be able to save the date so they can join with others to celebrate and have fun with no young people to be responsible for.
When:
Saturday 7th December 2023 from 7:30pm until late - music from 8pm to midnight and we need to clear up and vacate the building and site by midday Sunday
Who:
Adult (over 18 years) members of Gravesham District Scouts (if you have a role on Compass this includes you) - no children or young people for this event. Please share with other members of your group as we can't guarantee compass is accurate
What will you need:
- appropriate clothing (this is your chance for the posh frocks and black tie outfits)
- one plate of food for a potluck sharing buffet (by plate, we mean about a dinner plate size). We have started a buffet plan. Click this link to RSVP and add what you will bring, or put your name against something already there. PLEASE NOTHING WITH NUTS DUE TO SOME OF OUR ADULTS HAVE AN AIR BOURNE NUT ALLERGY
- your own drink, drinking cup, plate and cutlery
- a sleeping bag if you want to stay over, options include: Lions Wing (the designated quiet zone), crash in the main hall or Barnes wing once the music stops, or even pitch your tent if you prefer.
We will supply fun, excellent company and the chance to socialise, without being responsible for young people.
