I know I can't wait for the next one.
It wasn't just geeky Star Wars, we also covered scouting classics as part of the Outdoor Challenge badge with camp gadgets and shelter building.
Aswell as marking the 50th anniversary of 2 former scouts being the first to walk on the moon. However the feedback from the cubs clearly shows lightsabers and rockets to be the winners of camp; it's amazing how much fun came from the pool noodles with cardboard tube handles; the Rocket team from Lower Grange Farm were fantastic, as part of the Silver Package they helped us make solid fuel rockets that we fired to over 500ft with much excitement.
It was a great camp anyway, but the icing on the cake was being presented with the Growth and Development Award for the group, just over the field at the district AGM, we had to have the photo shoot around the camp fire!
