Upcoming All Volunteers Meeting
Calling all Scout volunteers! We invite you to join us for an exciting All-Volunteer Meeting on Saturday, January 27th, at 2:30 PM at Hopehill campsite, Wrotham Road, Meopham, DA13 0QJ.
What to Expect
This meeting is an opportunity for all Scout leaders, trustees, section assistants, young leaders, and other volunteers to come together, connect, and learn about the exciting changes coming to Scouting. We'll be discussing the national transformation programme and what it will mean at section, group and district level; what action you need to take, and changes closer to home at Hopehill and within Gravesham. It is also your chance to ask any questions - about almost anything!.
Important Details
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.
Please RSVP by clicking here so we can get a headcount for refreshments.
We are exploring options for digital attendance and recording the meeting for those who cannot make it in person. Please let us know if you would like to participate virtually.
Why are we changing?
Scouting is a movement that has continually evolved with the times and the changes in society, and this continues. To keep delivering great opportunities to shape the lives of young people, and to benefit even more, we need more adults involved in Scouting. Making volunteering easier and more fun for everyone, as well as keeping up to date with current best practice, is going to be essential if we continue to grow to deliver Scouting to more young people to have a positive impact on their lives and the world.
We look forward to seeing you there!
